'The Voice' recap: So It's Come To This: A 'Voice' Clip Show
There's nothing new under the sun, or in the Voice Box tonight -- minus some footage of the coaches
| Published Oct 2, 2012That's right, sports fans -- tonight, we dine on 'the best of the blind auditions,' which for all intents and purposes is a glorified clip show. Sure, there was some new footage of Christina, Adam, Blake, and Cee Lo scattered throughout. Mostly, though, Tuesday's Voice was a recap episode meant to prepare us for next week's first Battle Rounds -- which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I can't be the only one who's itching to see this season finally move onto its second phase. (The "Warm Liquid Goo Phase," if you will.)
And while Episode 9 itself was a bit of a cheat, it can still provoke plenty of discussion. Here are a few conversation starters: At this stage in the competition, which coach do you think has the strongest team? Which individual contestant had your favorite audition overall? And which new mentor are you most excited to watch next week -- Team Christina's Billie Joe Armstrong, Adam Levine's Mary J. Blige, Cee Lo Green's Rob Thomas, or Blake Shelton's Michael Buble?
Talk among yourselves. Busis out! (Oops, wrong show.)
