GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER? Alicia's mom (guest star Stockard Channing) arrives for Thanksgiving and subsequently drives Alicia crazy

David M. Russell/CBS

Not afraid of over-stepping her bounds, Veronica had an interesting conversation with Peter about his relationship with Alicia. This conversation took place after she'd called Alicia out on whether or not she was truly happy. Veronica told Peter that Alicia would never divorce him, and that he was exploiting her by not divorcing her. Alicia interrupted their conversation and whisked Peter away for some good old-fashioned bathroom sex. That's not a typo, Alicia's mother drove her to sex it up with Peter, and she didn't even feel the need to lock the door! Who knew bathroom sex was the anecdote to mommy issues?

Also important to note is the aftermath of Cary's unfortunate encounter with Bill, Nick's henchman. Cary claimed his shiner was from a basketball injury, and no one questioned it. He went straight to Nick to deal with the problem under the guise that there were issues with the tow truck company lawsuit. He told Nick that he knew about Bill and his drug record. Cary then told Nick that he used to work in the state's attorney's office and made it his job to know everything about Nick's business in case there is ever any trouble. On the surface level it was a conversation about the tow truck company, but really, it was Cary issuing his warning to Nick. It will be interesting to see how that one plays out.

So now it's your turn. How funny was Owen ratting out Alicia because Veronica thought he and Will were an item? Am I the only one who read more into to Peter's conversation with Jackie's nurse, Cristian? Was he trying to imply more was going on between him and Jackie? If so, gross. What did you think of Stockard Channing as Alicia's mom? That Jackie vs. Veronica throw-down in the kitchen was awesome. And just for fun, here's my favorite throwaway line from Veronica: "Not a bad oven for such a small kitchen."
