I haven't written a lot about Laura this season, but I will say that she was a fine addition to the Survivor franchise. She played hard, won two straight immunities, and made some enemies, which makes for good TV. She was also responsible for some truly boneheaded strategic decisions (as is everyone on Galu), but she provided a great foil for both Russell and Shambo, and for that we thank her. And we must take time out to thank producers as well. Samoa was turning into one big dud of a season. But an early merge at 12 members turned everything around. The past 3 episodes have been absolute doozies. Just goes to show you: timing is everything, people.

Speaking of doozies, do be sure to view our exclusive deleted scene from last night's episode below. Also, Tocantins runner-up Stephen Fishbach will be joining me to interview Laura on Survivor Talk, so make sure to check back soon for that. (You can watch past episodes of Survivor Talk as well as tons of deleted scenes at our fancy Survivor video hub.) Don’t forget about Jeff Probst, who is blogging his little heart out. And to get Survivor scoop sent right to your virtual door, you can follow me on Twitter @EWDaltonRoss.

Okay, here are the three things I'd like to know from you guys this week. 1) Which do you prefer: fire-making tiebreaker or colored rock? 2) Would you have flipped like John to save yourself from the colored rock? (Be honest!) 3) And finally, "Holding Out For a Hero" or "Let’s Hear it For the Boy"? Hit the message boards and let us know!
