Bradon really fell down on this challenge, and I think it all began with his choice in shoe. Those bedazzled flats were a difficult jumping-off point, and his tortured top looked diseased. Where would anyone wear this? Kaley called it a bad bridesmaid dress, and Anne went as far as to say, "This is my least favorite look." Bradon's was a problem, but I still think it was better than...
I'm actually surprised the judges weren't harder on Jeremy. I thought this was the worst look of the night. The play on cable-knitting was far too literal and fell so far off the mark. Nina compared the model to Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman before the "Big mistake. Huge" makeover. Zac began to question Jeremy as a designer, and Nina noted that he was "floundering" in the competition.
Yes, Miranda got trounced by Alexander in the plaid-off, but this look wasn't actually worse than her others. It was just her time. I appreciated her defending her right to make uncool clothes -- she chose an uncool shoe to begin with. Miranda was upset about leaving for a look she really liked, but I don't think she could have kept her cool much longer in the competition.
Did you think Helen's dress deserved the win? How many fashion quiz questions did you get right? Do you agree with Tim that this is the most talented crop of designers ever? Just how terrible is Ken?
