The weakest story line so far this season has to be Bree's. Danielle escaped from the convent with the help of Grandma Phyllis. The girl's confrontation with her mother and Orson was hilarious, especially when Danielle said she wouldn't let Bree ''emasculate'' her. But this whole pregnancy scenario is just too hard to believe. Is Bree really going to raise Danielle's baby as her own? She thinks that's the most logical solution? In any case, Orson and Bree managed to get Danielle to come back home. Turns out a teen doesn't really want to live with her grandma at an old folk's home where mah-jongg and water aerobics are the most popular activities. Bree and Phyllis did have a nice parting scene. Seeing Phyllis sitting in that apartment alone with all those pictures of Rex did make me feel sorry for her. And apparently Bree felt the same way, since she offered to let Phyllis baby-sit every once in a while, albeit only if Bree could explain to her friends that the old woman was broke and needed the money. I love it that Bree walked out bitchy. The previews for next week's Halloween episode, in which Danielle will dress up like her mother, look genius! Maybe Danielle isn't so dumb.
What did you think of this week's Desperate Housewives? Is this the last we'll see of John? What could Adam have done in Chicago? And are Bob and Lee growing on you?
